Hello Subregion G! I hope that you have all been having a great week! This week's blog is ALL ABOUT COMMITTEES! We have been looking into getting some committees together in the subregion. I have E-mailed your Governors the application, so ask them to send it to you if they have not already! There are a few committees we have planned. They are:
Spirit and Morale:
This committee will be in charge of coming up with fun ways to keep us spirited! Some things that need to be done are: Design a T-shirt and collect T-shirt sizes and money from those that want one once a price has been established. Also, this committee will be making up chants and cheers to show our spirit at any event that we are represented at. Coming up with new and creative ways to unite us in spirit and keep us energized all year is another directive.
Growth:
This committee shall be responsible for helping clubs with the building and rebuilding process in their districts. The committee shall coordinate its efforts with those of the Lieutenant Governor of the division in which a club is being built and the Governor. This does not mean that you have to travel to a club and help them grow. This committee is to be able to help those in need by sharing experiences or the process on how to build a club. The members of this committee should know where the resources are to help build a club and possibly create your own for our subregion.
Event Planning:
It shall plan and execute the Subregion G event. This committee is in charge of finding a weekend that works for each district and plan projects and events to do during that weekend. You will also find a location and make promotional items for this event. This committee will also make a registration form to send out and make a budget to find the cost per member. Anything that deals with the event will lie in this committee’s hand
These committees may have other duties assigned to them as the year goes on but it is a fun way to keep the subregion together and above the rest! I will be with each committee every step of the way for any questions. Please take the time to fill these out and I can’t wait to get started on a great year of new, fun, innovative ideas!
APPLICATION DUE OCTOBER 3rd!
